Jean Driscoll has been one of the dominating forces in the sport of wheelchair racing
since 1990. Her tenacity for winning has gotten her into the record books and her
charisma and enthusiasm for life has captured the hearts of fans worldwide.One of Jean's biggest honors to date includes being listed as #25 on the list of Top 100 Female Athletes of the Century by Sports Illustrated for Women. Jean, most well known for eight Boston Marathon victories and two Olympic silver medals (1992, 1996) has maintained unprecedented consistency at the top of her sport for more than a decade. Jean has been featured on Good Morning America, the Today Show, ABC Nightline, Lifetime Television and feature stories in the Chicago Tribune and USA Today. A documentary highlighting her life story and her quest for athletic excellence has aired on more than 400 PBS stations nationwide. Determined to Win: The Jean Driscoll Story is now in bookstores.
